Express

The Social Innovation Camp Express is a mini version of our big Social Innovation Camps, run in the space of just an hour or two.

Here’s how it works:

  • We bring a group of different people together: they might be doctors, teachers, care workers, patients, students, designers, software developers – anyone who might know about something that they’d like to change and are interested in how they can use the web to make it happen.
  • We help participants to share some problems they’d like to solve; their ideas might be about the environment, a local community, health care, schools or anything else that they can think of.
  • We then help participants come up with a solution to their chosen problem, articulate clearly what their idea is and get them thinking about how they might make it happen in a really practical way.

It’s an informal workshop and an opportunity to learn a little bit about how the web can help people change stuff for themselves, share some really practical ideas and meet some nice new people.

And it’s meant to be fun too!
